GDPR as an IT Service – a tale of ITSM and ITIL (webinar 27.09.2017)

When: 27.09.2017

Start: 17:00 EET (Sofia, Bulgaria)

End: 17:30 EET (Sofia, Bulgaria)

The goal of this webinar is to provide you with general information about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and a practical view on how compliance can be achieved. IT Service Management (ITSM) accumulates all our actions to create value, deliver it optimally to our customers and achieve long term improvements. Without proper compliance to regulations there is no real value for our customers. ITIL is a best-practice framework that supplements our ITSM and allows us via a set of processes and artefacts to deliver compliant services. We will talk about how this framework can take this complex topic and provide guidance for each company striving for compliance. One of the main points in our talk is that GDPR is a companywide challenge, the resolution of which can be driven by the IT organization.

The webinar is intended for IT Managers, Business Managers, Security Professionals, Project Managers, BPO and Customer Service Professionals, and for all participants who are generally interested in the topic.

The facilitator: Nikola Gaydarov is an experienced ITSM Consultant, ITIL Expert and Trainer and certified Prince2 Practitioner. His goal is to always find simple and elegant solutions to complex problems.
